Pike County Redevelopment Commission
The Pike County Redevelopment Commission was created by IC 36-7-14 & IC 36-7-25 (collectively called the "Act"). The Act states the clearance, planning, replanning, redevelopment or economic development of blighted areas and economic development areas are public uses and purposes for which public money may be spent and private property may be acquired. The commission is comprised of a 5 person board and affords the county a maximum opportunity for rehabilitation, redevelopment or economic development opf areas by private enterprise.
